Her daughter should be thanked more than I, she's the one that forced her to go as I wasn't around yet. If she were just home with me, she would've convinced me that she were fine.

My fiancée and I do that...  I went playing off-road and hurt my foot.  I knew I had dislocated or broken one or both of my smallest toes.  I get home & start cooking supper before she got in.  She gets in (I had texted her that I'd broken or dislocated toes) and I'm walking around the kitchen, still in my combat boots [laugh] So, despite her insistence I'm hurt & should be off my feet & have my boots off, I finish cooking.  Then I take my boot off and my second smallest toe is shaped really funny.  Then comes the "I'm driving you to the ER," and I counter with "It's fine, just dislocated."  She finally makes me call my neighbor that's an ER nurse.  So... I ice it good but can't get my hands on it right to fix it.  I show her how to re-set the toe and make her do it. [laugh]   WAY cheaper than a trip to the ER [cheeky] FWIW, my knuckle on that toe is still noticeably larger than the one on the other foot...

Morning all.  Still working on my first  [coffee].  Getting ready to walk the dogs and head to the studio...

Also getting ramped up for my first Track Day tomorrow.  Wheeeeee!  Got my track pants and a new front tire yesterday.  (Thanks, DuckStew, for taking care of that tire for me!)  I'm gonna take her out for a spin this afternoon.

Lethe, glad your wife is feeling better.  Oh, IV's are hard to insert if you're dehydrated, btw.  That could have been an issue.

DP, hope you have a nice ride!

See you kids around the block!

Inara: "Yes, precisely. Only the exact phrase I used was 'don't'."

Yay for FRyDay  [clap]

I have one class today and it is a review and only lasts 3 hours.  Then I have 3 days off.  [beer]

I have been working my ass off lately and am looking forward to the break.

I was told yesterday that I will be teaching the chapter staff in two weeks.  The CEO, my boos, our director, etc.  It is going to be fun.  It will be 3 classes in total, one 8 hour class for Red Cross employee's without a CPR and First Aid card, and then two 4 hour review classes for the current card holders.

I will hold them hostage for hours and dangle the card over head until they say yes to my demands.  [evil]

Typo!  My Boss is perfect for me.  She listens, provides feedback, and values my hard work.  She want to move me into a leadership position and tries to make sure I am adding new classes to my list so I will not get bored teaching CPR all the time.
