You up north? Supposed to get pretty cold by the end of the day here.

My issues were just time and mileage. This truck is 17 years old w/ 148K miles.

What year GK?

Time has an effect on systems like brakes because most cars don't have regular fluid flushes like out bikes.

As we all know, brake fluid has a tendency to absorb moisture over time which causes corrosion and leaks.

I'm the 3rd owner of this truck. It sat a lot.

Yep, heading north today. I already got a heads up that this week will be nasty up there. I got my jacket and ridiculous hat ready. I'll be getting better gloves while I'm there.

My wagon is a 1999 model. I'm the second owner.

It needs a brake flush too!

Get yourself some base layer type undergarments.

The key to staying warm is layers. I used to wear at least 3 all winter...inside and out.

I'd overheat in the new house with that much on, but I really feel the cold when I go out.

'98 with 170k.

Now that all the neglected maintenance has been addressed, it's running strong.

Built Ford Tough! [thumbsup]

I miss my Ford. It's been a real challenge to get used to this GMC...it's only the second GM product I ever 'owned'.

Been seeing the ads for the new numinum bodied F150.

I kinda like it.

I do like the new F150's.  Getting to be too nice to be a truck.

Ford is really proud of them. Way too much to be gracing my garage.

Garage you say?

My 4 wheeled rigs live outside.

I like the looks...I doubt I'd like the price, but I can say that of most products today.

Keep in mind I had a 1971 Pinto that was too expensive at $1998.00 ;D
