This is why I'm glad I'm on city water.  We have water even when the power goes out.  It comes from a reservoir that is surrounded by the Federal park lands.  That makes it really clean even before it goes through the water plant.

We usually have air all the time where I live. Even without electricity or water. Although the rumor is that they are going to raise the rate on air. I might have to shut it off if they do that.

I could always move closer to the railroad tracks, or the airport where they still have free noise. That might compensate for the price of air I suppose.
