it was . . . I like to use "cheap" cuts for day to day steaks/chopped steak, may not be 'soft' but are flavourfull

I do that too, the really nice cuts are really expensive here, I tend to rely those as well.  I've got a good tenderizing and seasoning recipe for the tougher cuts.  Works well here.  Ribeye for instance is usually $14-$18 a pound.

Got back from basketball.

Youngest daughter's team got smashed, the older daughter's team did some smashing. In that game she scored 4 goals which is a PB for her!
