evening and Booze O'clock . . .

We're done here in the apartment . . .  No we didn't finish but, did about 80% of the work . . . Whatever is not boxed and/or labeled is up for grabs between family . . . Flea market raised $100 so ASPCA is getting a $100 on my grandmother's behalf . . .

My knee, well, hurts a bit, but, it took me thru the week . . . Now, hopefully in 2 months time(tops), apartment will be for rent . . .

I am outta here feeling sad and satisfied at the same time

The make the beast with two backsing water is barely make the beast with two backsing trickling out of a 3/4" id poly pipe.
Why so little water delivery/pressure??

Is it the tap fitting?  What if you replaced the tap with a 3/4" gate valve?

Not under the slab...

still not easy to get to...

and right now with the pool where it is I can't get a machine in there to dig...

and I don't want to do it by hand.

The soil here is very rocky...you can't put a shovel in the ground.

Digging is a two tool process...iron bar and a shovel.

Ground here is all chocolate red-brown soil.  Digging goes pretty well until you hit the clay layer about a metre down.

And then it get to be very hard yakka.

The price may scare me off.

I'll do some research.

I am going to dig the pipe up enough to make sure it didn't kink where it starts to sweep up to the surface. The plan was to install a frost free hydrant anyway.
