I slept 9 hours!  [coffee] [coffee] [coffee] and the Sunday NY Times now.

I'm just trying to get the shop in order.

The kids are helping, which is nice, as far as kid help goes.
If the state had not cut funding for the mental institutions, this project could never have happened.

It is. Cleaning the shop up, reorganizing. Getting ready for proper work.

Also selling all the spare parts to fund it. I had no clue what some of these things were going for.

You're referring to the Chrysler?

Yup-the gauge clusters are apparently big money. The windshields are around $1200 or so. Given that my parts car it came out of was $400,that's not terrible.

I'll keep the glass, because it's not going to get easier to find, but still-no idea things had gone up so much.

As lovely as being on an island where everything is designed to kill you can get, I imagine.

Well visiting North America....
The concept of bears and (cougars/mountain lions) etc is more "interesting" than spiders and snakes....

I ain't never found a bear in my boot.

Funnel webs? Dumb way to die.

Redback is the worst spider bite I have had....
So far never seen a funnel web. They are mostly south of here (although hearing they are migrating further north each day).

The animals in the water worry me more.......
