Morning guys!  According to the news, Seattle had the second darkest day ever yesterday. I was in a classroom and remember thinking it sure did look gloomy outside  [laugh]

Heavy rain this morning for the dog walk. Rain expected all day. For many days in a row  [bang]   [laugh]  Welcome to Seattle!

I had an elaborate dream about my monster last night:

Somehow I was in Seattle with my bike and, after a week of vacationing and visiting a friend, I had to return to the east coast.  I realized at that point that the airlines would probably not let me take the bike as checked baggage, so I panicked.  My resolution was to sell the thing in Seattle before I left, but I had < 48 hrs before my flight to do so.  No one wanted it, and it kept breaking down as I tried showing it off.  Then it occurred to me to sell it to a Ducati dealer, who could at least given me something for it.  At that point I just wanted it gone so I could fly home.  However, they had no interest in buying it.  But then Carlos came over (he was working there) and mentioned that if I tore the thing down I could pack it into 3 bags that I could check on a plane.  So I started to do that, when another mechanic began making suggestions for upgrades and repairs, which I bought into.  So I ended up missing my flight and was left with a pile of parts in boxes with no place to stay, no flight home, and a $2k bill for upgrades I didn't need.  That's when I woke up.

I don't know the larger psychoanalytical meaning of this, but I now have a strong urge to sell my bike.

I used to have elaborate dreams about my Monster....  Mostly in my early teens...

Oh, wait...  Your dream was about your motorcycle...
It's all in the grind, Sizemore. Can't be too fine, can't be too coarse. This, my friend, is a science. I mean you're looking at the guy that believed all the commercials. You know, about the "be all you can be." I made coffee through Desert Storm. I made coffee through Panama while everyone else got to fight, got to be a Ranger.
