The pic doesn't show the other two sides...it was most likely a barn with the cellar open on one end so it could be cleaned out. The old timers also kept pigs in the cellars of barns.

That's T's phone. She must have some 'effect' turned on. It isn't frost. It was 45 degrees.

Keeping livestock indoors is an alien concept to those of us who reside in more temperate climes.

I remember my long time ol' mate from Sweden - when visiting us here years ago - asking.... where the cows were kept during the depths of winter.

At the time I didn't understand the question..... and he didn't understand the answer.
