It's all in the grind, Sizemore. Can't be too fine, can't be too coarse. This, my friend, is a science. I mean you're looking at the guy that believed all the commercials. You know, about the "be all you can be." I made coffee through Desert Storm. I made coffee through Panama while everyone else got to fight, got to be a Ranger.

Mechanically the car has some serious heart.  It would go another 100k if this were not the rust belt.  Damn shame.

Search Albuquerque Craigslist.  You find anything that you want, & I'll go look at it & help with the purchase.

Also: I +1 Bick's 'Ning (I'm an equal opportunity 'ning-er).

Hey Stew!  (And extend that to Mrs. Stew) [beer]

A bit IZ_.

Had a little rain already, and they're talking about the possibility of thunder storms most of the day.

We'll take a quick walk and try to miss the drops.

I got the brakes fixed after a cluster make the beast with two backs of epic proportion yesterday...and the new mirrors installed.

I think I'm done with the truck for a while...other projects need attention. I still have to fix some rust. :-\

Left the house at 7:45 to go get the brake line. I went to my favorite parts store. Been doing business there for years...it's about 25 minutes away.

Brought the old line and fittings because my research indicated the fittings were different than normal for that line size.

Guy behind the counter...30 years experience...takes the fitting and tests it in a coupler. Hands me the line and fluid...off I go.

Get home...make the first bend and try to start the fitting in the wheel cylinder. The guy that designed the truck ought to be shot. You can't get a hand in between the springs and the backing plate to start the line...getting frustrated...so I try to start the fitting at the other end...wrong thread.

Call the guy up...he digs the fitting out of the trash and goes back to the coupler drawer. Sure enough he gets different results this time.

Back to the parts store...50 minutes round trip.

Three hours after I started the project I'm starting all over again.  [bang] [bang] [laugh]

They weren't easy to bleed either. [roll]

It's all history now...until a front line rusts out. :P
