Evening . .

Cooking ropa vieja for tomorrow's lunch . . If I make back home in time from some errands . . . Gotta go see a Banshee that needs brake pads and some other stuff replaced

Cardiologist told missus yesterday that she MUST get on the elliptical EVERYDAY for NO less than 30 mins, at this time, 1912h local, she's been in bed for 132mins . . . if I say something, I get shouted at, NOT my problem . . . he found nothing wrong with me . . . he just said, keep your new diet and exercise plan, see you in 3 months and he told her, see you in 30 days

We have Timber Rattlers.  They're easily as thick as a good sized arm and angry at the world.  I carry .357 ratshot when I fish in the woods just because of them.

The only experience I have with rattle snakes id from the FL panhandle a hundred years ago, and they were pygmy rattlers in palmetto stands, and chuck holes.

They all carried guns and wore high boots. [thumbsup]

Not many snakes around here.

Plenty of black widows though.
If the state had not cut funding for the mental institutions, this project could never have happened.

The orphanage had water moccasins, and the first foster home was out in the woods northwest of Jacksonville - rattlesnakes everywhere. We picked black berries with a sharpened hoe at the ready.

Rattlesnakes now are loosing the ability to rattle.
