Morning.

Definitely a cutey, Carlos.

We may have had too much  [wine] last night.

B is still in bed.  I've been working on inspection reports for work.  It's a lot easier to get the boring paperwork stuff done at home where I'm not getting interrupted every 5 minutes.

Any big plans for today?

There is an Aerostitch pop up in Portland today. Do I want to drive 3 hours with 2 dogs just to try on suits?. Saving up for a bike, but the gear comes first. They make women's suits now!

The storm was not as bad as expected, but it always takes a good extra hour to get back. Plus the Hawks play at 1330.

Guess I will stay home.

Popup store across the river in New Jersey a few years ago.  Why they'd come to NYC area and not popup in the city is beyond me, but I decided it was my only chance to try on an Aerostitch.  Road out on my duc and in the middle of the Holland Tunnel my rear brake froze.  Had to push up to 8k RPMs in 3rd to get the bike to putt along at maybe 15 mph.  Got out of the tunnel, realized the piston inside the slave was stuck.  Removed the caliper and while I could have continued on to the popup, I decided that the universe was telling me something.

So, never got to try one on.  That said, after a long and frustrating search for waterproof moto pants, I ended up ordering a pair...very skeptically.  Did some research online, filled out their size form, talked with a representative, ordered online (fingers crossed).  Pleased to say I am happy with 'em and they fit well.

The moral: never go out of your way for a popup.  Hope your hawks won!

Prepping truck for the trip.

Removed tint. Put a new stereo in, took seats out, put make-quiet stuff in, then a new carpet, put seats back.

Maybe I'll be able to hear myself think in that diesel monster now.
If the state had not cut funding for the mental institutions, this project could never have happened.

Today's word of the day: Apathy...or maybe optometrist...because something seems to be wrong with my eyes.

Yeah, I can't see myself giving a shit today. Just don't care who I piss off or on today.

These kinds of days seem very few and far between over the last 5 or so years of my life but when they hit, they hit like a ton of bricks.

Maybe I just need  [shot]

Of course, 1 is the equivalent of 4 since my surgery...

Even went for a nice ride yesterday on the Multi and all that did was make me even more disconsolate.

Oh well...tomorrow will be better.
