Evening.  Did some icy waterfall hiking today.  My legs will have unkind things to say about me in the morning I'm afraid.  Got some nice pictures though and had a nice adventure type outing.

It's NOT as nice as it looks. In fact, it looks a lot better from 12 feet away... or further. Some very suspect work has been done on it.

But it runs and drives, and as long as it keeps doing that, i'll be happy  ;D

Paula leaves for the week today.

Should be chaos-need to get one kid out of the house much sooner than normal.

And of course, I seem incapable of waking up on my own. Penny normally wanders in and shakes me awake, or else I stay in bed all morning.
If the state had not cut funding for the mental institutions, this project could never have happened.

I am an expert at sleeping through them.

If the state had not cut funding for the mental institutions, this project could never have happened.

Bucket of cold water with a rope attached over Dad's head.  Alarm clock rings.  Dad does not get up.  Penny pulls rope.  Eventualy Pavlov's theory takes over.

I slept through a fire alarm once.

Also last trip to Kazahstan for work I slept on the California-DC flight. Then the DC-Moscow flight.

Then on the Shuttle bus from the airport to Moscow.

Then I took a nap in my hotel room before dinner.


I was tired.  :P
