We got maybe a half inch overnight. Raining now, and supposed to all day.

My snowblower is sitting, and has been for over a month. Been so warm there's no need to move it.

We're in the middle of mud season already. If things don't change drastically the mountains will close within a couple of weeks. We were at Cannon yesterday and the conditions were 'slush with mashed potatoes'.

Just looked at the news for the first time in about a week.  Nice "little" storm brewing on the right coast.  Hopefully doesn't abuse any of you too badly!

 [coffee] [coffee]  It looks like my natural wake up time is 0640! Setting the alarm for 0500 on Monday is going to be just a little painful. Where did my week off go?

Good luck with the HOA Stella. Go read past meeting minutes to see how many cases like yours they have dealt with over the past few years. If the board is any good, they will go after the upstairs owner for the costs. We had things like that happen at least once a year in my condo building. IF the owner refused to pay, we sued them.

Looks like some of y'all need to stay safe in all the snow and wind. 38 with a steady wind here. Rain, no snow.

Yes, that's exactly what either the HOA or the HOA's insurance company needs to do.  The board does not have a good reputation for being forward thinking or fiscally brilliant.  I'm expecting this to go on for a while unfortunately.   [bang]

No snow here-just a ton of rain and it's very windy.

Going to finish lunch and go make dust.
If the state had not cut funding for the mental institutions, this project could never have happened.

It depends where you are as to the impact. Higher elevations down south will get dumped on...flooding on the coast.
