My sister reminded me recently of the days of baling hay, throwing / stacking it in the pickup then throwing it from the pick up to the hay loft.  In summer.   In Michigan.  When the black biting flies, mosquitos, deer flies and every other buzzing flying biting creature was at their worst; temps were high 90's, humidity was close to the same.   ugh.

Gawd those was absolutely miserable moments.

Today will be 96 with humidity hovering around 10% with nary a bug to be found.    I can deal with that.

It is a gift and you do not return gifts, is not polite, unless it doesn't fit you and I wouldn't give you something that doesn't fit

Good day.

Still dry. [thumbsup]

Lost my bank card. [thumbsdown]  Thankfully no mysterious charges and I can get a new card on the spot at the bank.

Still really warm here.

Stella, you reminded me of the summers working on the horse farm.  Always seemed like the semi of hay would show up on the hottest day of the summer.  Grooming would lead to horse hair and dirt stuck all over any exposed skin.

Another hot, dry, windy day... [bang]

My invitation to Mother is still out there...  and all the beer he can drink.  [beer]

It's all in the grind, Sizemore. Can't be too fine, can't be too coarse. This, my friend, is a science. I mean you're looking at the guy that believed all the commercials. You know, about the "be all you can be." I made coffee through Desert Storm. I made coffee through Panama while everyone else got to fight, got to be a Ranger.

81 degrees.

Better go for a dip in the pond.
If the state had not cut funding for the mental institutions, this project could never have happened.

Great news on the basement!

Dirt and horse hair from the nose and shavings and whatever else found on the bottom of the boots and from my pant cuffs (because I had pant cuffs back then).   :o

The upside of having a small horse farm was being close to Lake Michigan where we could ride to the beach and play in the water.  Today, every square inch near our old farm is owned and cannot be accessed.  Those were fun times and kept me out of trouble I definitely would've gotten into otherwise.    ;)

It is even a little warm here! a bright sunny 72. Headed to a college alumna event later. It is at a brewery that one of my classmates is part owner of. Ride and not drink or drive and have one?

Nothing frustrates me more than when you go to a long time favorite but seldom visited brewery (like once every 8 years), get a bomber to go and they screw the top on so freeking tightly that you can't. get. it. off.    gaaaahhhhh!!!!!!

Guess I'll have some tap water.      [bang] :'( [bang] :'(

Rant off.
