Didn't sleep in, and not taking the day off, though it's an attractive proposition.

Morning Ung.

Evening here.  Productive day at home.  My coworkers don't bother to announce they've completed a project until after it's shipped which makes my job much harder.  Going into the office tomorrow to instruct the youngsters that they suck...

Besides dealing with all the old-people's things with the parents this week, the old neighbor next to my dad sent his middle-aged son over to hand-deliver a letter telling my dad he had to sign it.

It went into how my dad needs to hire a tree spade truck thing to properly dig out several 3 foot pine trees planted last year in the guy's yard so that when the tree service I hired to remove an 80 foot maple in my dad's yard doesn't damage his precious make the beast with two backsing midget pines should any limbs fall on them.

AND my dad would be responsible for replacing the 3-effing footers if their health became an issue or they died in the next 12 months.

The truck/spade rental would cost much more than the trees are worth, damage your lawn in the process and go eff yourself ya old tree hugging bastid if you think we're going to shoulder the burden of proof and dicker back and forth next year if your $25 big box retailer trees die.

I diplomatically and politely drafted a letter in return with a gentle "no".  After I get my dad to the eye doc appointment that he insists he has (but doesn't) and to an unexpected dental appointment for a cracked tooth, I'll go deliver that letter.

Parent-management is a challenging one this week.   And this is just one of many "opportunities" that have occurred with both of them.

If the state had not cut funding for the mental institutions, this project could never have happened.

Sounds like no fun Stella.

Morning.   [coffee]

Didn't have to make the unnecessary trip with the pop for an eye doctor appointment that didn't exist so that's one win for the day.   [thumbsup]

Enjoy, all.

What if the midget pines.....  suffered.... a... nasty little.... accident?

Hypothetically.

I think this has the makings of a Monty Python skit.

The pines are innocent.  Will that stuff work on people?
