Thanks all.  Better benefits than what we have now.  More benefits than what we have now.  Direct deposit, life insurance, steady company which is growing and M-F 8-5.  In a cubicle...

I'm getting flashbacks of Office Space movie, TPS reports, PC load letter....

Still though, I'm happy.

Just getting caught up.

Back in steamy Texas after almost a month in MI, where the temps were high 70s/low 80s almost the entire time!

Sorry to hear of your loss, Stu.  Congrats on the new gig.

Good luck with the showing, Stella.

Seems like a lot has happened real estate wise in my little neighborhood while I was gone.  Three townhomes were for sale.  Those signs are down, replaced by a couple other units for sale/rent.  New occupant next door to me, which was unexpected.

Schlepped all the stuff from the cars back inside again (which was about 10 trips up / down a staircase and a half.

Leg workout?  check check!   There will be more of that over the next week from the storage unit.   



ION:  Broke open the spiced liqueur to assist in crafting a heartfelt apology to all my sponsors letting them know our early Sept. events have been cancelled (a relief I'm sure to all including myself).   Industry people were shocked we were moving forward but the boss felt that due to the forced venue changed (a huge improvement), we'd be inundated with speakers, sponsors and registrations.  (He doesn't believe in Covid.)   Thank the lord, dog, buddha, hare krishna, baby jesus and all the other deities that our Board of Directors stepped in.   [thumbsup]

No, but you probably know a Cliff. He is one of the owners at work and the director of manufacturing. He asked me for a safe way to go to Sturgis. I told him to ride within 50 miles of the town, turn around and ride home. Nope. Then he got upset when the COO and I told him he would have to quarantine and test when he got back.  I even had to tell him that he was not allowed in the buildings after hours.
