Greetings from Bandon, OR at what I think is a sister motel to Bates.  I have to force the dog to go in it every time we leave and return.  It's weird.  Something bad happened here at one point (or more frequently?).   yeesh.

But it's right next to the ocean so there's that.  I hope it's not illegal to take pebbles and small rocks off the beach b/c my inner geologist geeked out along the shore. 

Leaving in the morning for Portland to see another friend then Seattle to see LMT.

The UPS guy validated the fact he's getting big.

It got so expensive when the mills got shut down, and the outdoor building season got underway.

I waited months before getting PT framing materials for projects at the track, and it was likely double last years prices.
