I don't recall the last time I woke up and decided to be cranky.  I'm going to mostly blame the dreary west michigan weather.   ;)

Happy Thanksgiving friends! Hope everyone has had a safe and great day!

I got home tonight at 7:30pm from a 36-hour shift, with my family waiting for me to carve the bird.. :D :D

The last call was a structure fire caused by homeowners using a turkey fryer on their covered back porch, to keep it out of the rain. The fryer overheated and caught the side of the house on fire. Only a good back door and windows (and our quick response) made the difference between a ruined dinner and a ruined home. Those things are SO friggin dangerous in the hands of the average moron... Please remember that oil/grease and water DO NOT MIX!
