Morning.  Had a job interview yesterday for remote work.  Well, they said remote but in reality it was remote 'for now' & move to Missouri later.  Uh, no.  I'll have more time to look for another gig this weekend...

Take the job, outsource the work to a cheap intern somewhere, collect the difference  :D

Morning.
If the state had not cut funding for the mental institutions, this project could never have happened.

Well...  19 years is a loooooooooooooong life for an 8# calico cat.  Today, we had to put down our beloved cat Scribble.  A big hole in our lives right now for such a small animal.  She was the absolute sweetest thing...

Kidneys were nearly gone, lots of toxins in the blood & she was down to 4.4# (5.3 last month)...

We were very blessed.  Now to try and sleep without her between us for the first time.  Oof...

So sorry to read this Stu.  RIP Scribbles.

Morning.  Thanks all.  Slept ok-ish.  In human years she was ~95-98 so the sadness is on us, not her.

We'll make it...  Just less pets in the household now.

RIP Scribbles. It is always so hard to say goodbye. I can't imagine not having Lucy.

We were fortunate to have her so long.  She was a trooper (mostly a napper honestly).  We did all we could for her to have a great life.

Just dealing with the grief now...

RIP Scribbles.  :'(

Manic weather down here this past week or so.  Cold & rainy, even an overnight freeze.  Then thunderstorms yesterday morning, followed by high winds and mid 70s.  :-\

Back to the grind tomorrow after a three day weekend.
