Mom is doing poorly.

They sent her home, but she's struggling.

I visited her today and brought her some food, but she can't seem to eat much.

I'm just trying to keep her comfy.

It's been rough  :-\
If the state had not cut funding for the mental institutions, this project could never have happened.

My thoughts are with you and your mom Dave. 

Hard for me to tell with the lack of communication with the staff there and only short visits outside Polly.  I'm seriously considering just getting her home.

Ugh.   How frustrating.  Home could be just what she needs.


Was hoping to see better news on Dave's mom and Ellen.   Know that you're all in my thoughts.

 [coffee]  Gray cold drizzly Seattle-like morning near the mountains.  And I love it.

One movie down (The Dig w/Ralph Fiennes).  Maybe another after grocery shopping (for the healthy stuff).

Food has been an issue the past 6 ish months.  So out with the bad and in w/the good.

Coffee maker is cleaned and put away, new grinder cleaned and stored, blender is out in their place.

Drove my precious jeep home last night.  Hasn't been driven in 8 months.  Fired right up.  A few rattles and the power locks don't work but she made it the 60 miles. 

Just unloaded the four cases of wine out of it that I also had stored at my friends.  Would really like to crack a bottle but that can wait.

I should have thrown away the red velvet cupcake and the pita and hummus.  But I didn't. [bang]  But Tueday's a comin' and I'm ready for it.  Just not today. ;)
