Evening all.   I would be all  [beer] [beer], but I have to go back to work at 10:00 pm to do some quick sound testing.

Then back at 0630 for a 0700 hearing protection class I teach. Then I get to teach it all over again at 4:30 pm!  Thursday is the fun one. CPR class at 0800 and then again at 3:00 pm.  Friday will be a short day!

Just finished monthly call with colleagues in Japan.  I've got another call with them on Thursday evening.

Taking Friday off to make a long weekend.  Too bad I haven't any plans.

So, I received the death certificate for my grandmother, now, I close a chapter ... Soon, it will be a month, and seems like yesterday when I received the call early morning on Aug 4th ... Have not cried since and I am now ...

Annual Conference this week turned virtual.

Although I'm very grateful I have a job.

But if I hear the words “pivot” “optics” or “circle back” one more time, I'm going to puke.

You know how some people are triggered by the word “moist”?  Pivot is my moist.

In other news:  who has tips on getting rid of raccoons (in city limits so the rifle is out of the question).  As far as I can tell, just hanging out and pooping (a lot) in rocks underneath bay window overhangs.

I have 2x4 sections covering the window wells except for about 6" wide section, two massive pines that need branches cut from the bottom.  Cutting away the surprise cantaloupe patch on the opposite side of the house.

Air rifle?  Silencer?  Not sure really, but cities usually have a team of people to do that kind of work.
