I hear ya, DP.

Found out this morning the mother of one of my classmates had died.  She was getting her mail and was struck by a van who lost control on icy roads the other day.  Unfortunately, her son died in a car crash 15 years ago.

If the state had not cut funding for the mental institutions, this project could never have happened.

Sorry to read of the sadnesses.  We all make choices in life.... it seems doubly sad when the choices we make lead us to pay the ultimate price. 

Others would regard choosing to ride motorcycles as a foolishly frivolous risk to life and limb and maybe they roll their eyes and wonder why we don't choose safer options.
