The kids were....difficult.

My assistant is good.

Back today.

They'll get there.

I got an unexpected package in the mail this week.  Guessing it went to the wrong mailbox as it was on my doorstep this morning.

I've been a supporter of The Wild Animal Sanctuary - https://www.wildanimalsanctuary.org/ - just NE of Denver for a number of years.

This year, I stepped up and donated funds to purchase an acre of land at their new(ish) refuge in SE Colorado (9,000+ acres).  Before the holidays, I received a calendar, a nice card and a "deed" for the acre.  The package today was a deed for a second acre as I had requested matching funds from my employer.

They do such good work taking care of animals that used to be in horrible environments from all over the world.

Many of the animals from the tiger king "zoo" are at their refuge, which is not open to the public. The sanctuary near Denver is, and they also manage a small refuge (~43 acres) not far from me in TX.

Penny might still fit in one.

Marlowe is maybe 6" shorter than Paula so....he won't fit.  :P
