Morning. My landlady had contractors here all day yesterday. Out with the broken furnace and in with the new mini-splits. One downstairs for me, and two upstairs for the main house.

They did not get done yesterday. My dog was not happy, I was not happy. Hard to unwind after work with 4 guys in my yard and watching them get too close to the bikes with conduit, ladders and tools. They were in and out, used my bathroom and left the seat up! I was going to use the grill, but they had parts leaning on it and smaller parts on the side tray 

I have today off, and will not be able to enjoy it.

Good morning.

Lazy day off for me.  Apparently my county is back in the danger zone for covid transmission rate. 

Hopefully the landscape company gets the irrigation system going again.  It hasn't been fully operational all year (and part of last year) and we've been a good month or longer with no measurable rain.  Unfortunately, we fired that landscape company, so they haven't had much incentive to fix things (or even complete the work we pay them for) before their contract ends on 7/31.

Evening Ducatters 

Pitched camp in Yorkshire's Wensleydale again. Wandered down to the Pheasant Inn.... quaint and lovely .. couple of pints of un-chilled Black Sheep ale.... chatted with some nice Ducati people... pleasant evening stroll back to the unTardis.  No more pub beer until we find more cash money tomorrow...coz they don't do.... technology 

Wouldn't be dead for quids.

Gave a 'heads up' to my minor contract employee that the major one has pushed me to more hours and that they should start training someone else / my time will be shorter for your work / I'll be uploading ALL my files soon.

Oddly, no word back.  We'll see how this plays out.

Got an email from HOA guy with status update on irrigation.  Can't decode all the mumbo jumbo on what's wrong, but the landscaper ended with "The community will incur service charges for discovery and repairs from the irrigator". 

I told our HOA guy to contact our attorney.

Well, as far as not knowing what day of the week it is, I'd say I'm at a solid 95%.
