Morning. There was a big shootout right by work last night. 3 cars with passengers hanging out of the windows shooting at each other. I'll go by later and look for bullet holes. Better not be one by my office!

hoping yer all having a relaxing and enjoyable long weekend. I got inspired by the holiday, thought of my ancestors from around Khortytsia (Chortiza sp?) Aleckzandorhof sp? (today called Zaporizhzhia) and made some Ukrainian Borscht to honor them surviving the Russian Communist Bolsheviks taking over where they were from and to honor all those serving and suffering through Russian invasion of the new democratic Ukrainian; so proud of the US and the rest of western Europe for standing by them; as the big bully tyrant tries to take over  ; I have hopes, and I ant religious but have had a prayer or too and thank humanity for sanity. I hope for peace, less lives lost (for both). |
