the tundra is an extended cab, with a sliding rear window too  :-\

i'll take some pics of it later
The only thing power in my truck is the steering.   ;D

i'll add that i wasn't going to fix it,
but the defroster and heat wasn't working because of it...

We had an extended cab Ford in the early 90's.  Bench seat, no power windows.  It was great.  I got good at parallel parking in the Bay Area on either side of a one way street.

The Jeep only has power steering.  Have to lean over to roll down the other window!  Mostly I carry Annies in the Jeep.  It is a Wrangler, so I have some room, but not as much as a truck.

nice!

i tried to manually turn on the heat,
but the car thought it was 120... no go.

during the summer, the car thought it was -40 (yes negative 40)
and the ac wouldn't work...

i can live without ac,
but you all know how i feel about the heat :)

ducpainter

As much as I say manually controlled...

there is a temp sensor to use the AC to dehumidify in the defrost cycle.

Here's hoping it doesn't mess up out of warranty.

Back for a quick break.
My truck is bare bones.
It's a '99 Chevy S-10 regular cab, 2WD, five speed, no A/C, manual crank windows, no carpet on the floor just rubber and bench seat. The only option I got was the 4.3 rather than the wimpy little 4 banger. Most dealers didn't want to get me such a combo, it was a pain in the ass to get but when I got it, I only paid 13k for it. It'll outrun a same year Maxima 0-60, it'll chirp the tires going into 4th at 70 and I've gotten as high as 29 mpg on the highway with it. Enough ground clearance for mild offroading too.

Ford only builds the extended cab with a V8/auto/air...

other than the slider my truck is equipped the same.

I did choose cloth seats as a no cost extra.

The F150 had nothin'.  Bench seat, straight sx, rubber floor.  The Dodge has everything, can't wait 'til it all goes to hell.
