Day 82 of gray, clouds, and rain.  Or maybe it's day 12, IDK...

While I was eager to get back to Michigan to squeeze my pup, 2-1/2 weeks is a long time here w/o wheels and basic accommodations.

Will try to get a ride to pick up a rental today - that much I can change until I leave Friday even if it's to go nowhere in particular with him.

Morning. I was woken up by the loud voices of the mom and son yelling and cussing at each other just before 0700. I hope the 9 year old daughter slept through it.

Hoping for a quick turnaround for Ellen, Howie.

I woke up with a sinus infection yesterday, so I'm laying low tonight.

Unfortunately, the fireworks are already getting out of hand here.  [roll] [roll]  We had red flag warnings for most of this side of the state the last few days. Yesterday was three years to the day of the worst wildfire out here.  The conditions were eerily similar.

Good morning and happy new year to all.

Haven't had a bit of sleep on my 24 hour shift in Scarborough ME. I gave up trying to get some sleep at 4am and made a pot of coffee...

Pretty sure I'll end up sleeping through the 1st day of 2025 :P
I'm here for a good time, but not a long time.
