Maybe try another dealer or contact a factory rep. Is the car still new enough to be covered by Lemon Law?
I'd place a call to Ford customer service. Especially since the issue isn't resolved.
It's still under the basic warranty, I think. The problem is the car hasn't been out of service for 30 days, and they haven't had enough opportunities to fix it. I don't know if the first visit which was 4 hours of diagnosis counts as a repair attempt.
I'm going to wait until Monday and see what the guy says. If he tries to sell me a line of shit, I may go that route. I grew up in car dealerships so I can smell bullshit. If he doesn't try to sell me a line, I might give him one more shot if he can convince me they've correctly diagnosed the problem. If he does, I'll file a complaint with Ford CS.
Otherwise my first call will be to my dealer buddy, where I bought the car, to see if he wants a shot at it. He'll likely send someone to pick up the car from Mass...leave me a car for T to use, and deliver it back when it's fixed. I've known the guy his whole life, and his dad and mine were best friends. He treats me pretty good.
