If the state had not cut funding for the mental institutions, this project could never have happened.

good morning all.  [coffee] [coffee]

thanks for the cheers! I only worked 3 months in 2014. It will be good to restock the savings account.
When do you start?

Shooting for the 13th. I have to pass a background check and drug test. I got the email link for the background test later yesterday afternoon. It is in depth and kinda invasive.

Soooo...after waiting for 4 make the beast with two backsing hours nothing is fixed.

We'll see what happens, but I don't think these rubes can fix it.

I'll bring it back to the dealer where I bought it and set it on fire in his showroom. ;D
So...the dealer came and picked up the car yesterday to fix it. They even brought it back...great customer service! [thumbsup]

Only problem is they didn't make the beast with two backsing fix it. Still no isplay except for the backup camera, no radio...just a black make the beast with two backsing screen.

No call to explain...nothing. Of course they're closed today. [bang]

Who has the matches? ;D

Maybe try another dealer or contact a factory rep.  Is the car still new enough to be covered by Lemon Law?

I'd place a call to Ford customer service.  Especially since the issue isn't resolved.

It's still under the basic warranty, I think. The problem is the car hasn't been out of service for 30 days, and they haven't had enough opportunities to fix it. I don't know if the first visit which was 4 hours of diagnosis counts as a repair attempt.

I'm going to wait until Monday and see what the guy says. If he tries to sell me a line of shit, I may go that route. I grew up in car dealerships so I can smell bullshit. If he doesn't try to sell me a line, I might give him one more shot if he can convince me they've correctly diagnosed the problem. If he does, I'll file a complaint with Ford CS.

Otherwise my first call will be to my dealer buddy, where I bought the car, to see if he wants a shot at it. He'll likely send someone to pick up the car from Mass...leave me a car for T to use, and deliver it back when it's fixed. I've known the guy his whole life, and his dad and mine were best friends. He treats me pretty good.

Lemon Laws all vary by state, but in most cases, it is an either/or, not necessarily both.
