Diva stopped by on her way to Vmont to see her folks. It was great to see her. I think she was astounded by Rowdy's energy. We're fortunate to have enough space for him to exercise. An English Setter is not a house dog.

Getting into the mountains for a few days wasn't in the cards as I had hoped and will be on the homefront ticking off projects (at least that's the current plan until I'm distracted by who knows what).

Praise be...our make the beast with two backsing car is done...6 months and a day.

Rowdy can go for rides again. [thumbsup] The service writer went out of his way to call me on the holiday because he had a wound up in the emergency room the past two days and knew that none of his co-workers would bother to call any of his customers, and after 6 months he figured we'd like our car back.

He was right, and I truly appreciate the effort.

Wow, that's a really long time! What was the issue(s) with it again?  Did the screens go blank or something like that?

Screen blank...radio stuck on AM couldn't tune it. Getting phantom accident warnings on a clear stretch of road.Car wouldn't lock, and the doors could be opened while driving. Also, the Ford Pass app couldn't locate the car., but I

According to the dealer it was some module behind the radio, and a cable from the GPS antenna. Ford couldn't supply the cable. Not sure how much of it is bullshit. I really think the guy was being straight with me.

Everything seems to work now, but we're thinking of getting rid of it. If we had to pay it likely would have cost thousands, and what's to say it won't happen again, or some similar electrical gremlin might raise it's head?
