You make the beast with two backsers think there's no planning in all this tomfoolery? :-*
I've always been amazed that Dan takes that tent home every year... And planning and tomfoolery have a pretty rocky relationship [evil]

Good morning. Buffalo is the only place I've ever lived where breweries and major stores close for holidays.

Question for those in attendance:

The old adage goes:
If you loan someone $20, anf you never see them again, it was worth it.

Question is this:
At what dollar amount does that cease to be true?  $100?  $1,000?  $10,000?

I think the answer lies in a grey area. If you didn't already know the character of a person you loan 3 figures + to and they leave you high and dry you deserve every bit of it.

So even if it's $20 and it disappears it's on the lender

It's only money.

morning

Was fooled by this person.  Entire family was.  It is only $$, and in the long run, we'll all be better off.  Just stings a bit right now.

Amount is in the mid 4-figures.

Holy shit dude. Sorry to hear. Fooled as in like addiction driven?

I'm trying to figure out what could happen that could turn someone I trusted enough to lend that amount to.

That's rough.

I loaned my sister 5k, to get herself squared away, blah, blah, blah. I haven't heard from her since. That was 2005.
