I love Thanksgiving.  After m birthday it is my favorite day of the year.

Friends, food, wine, and pie.  What more could you ask for?
It's a day when everyone can get along. My wife's ex-husband, his wife and his mother came over because they didn't have anywhere else to go so my wife invited them. Actually was a good day too.

On the other hand, we will have more child abuse cases in Court Monday morning than almost any other day except the first business day after Christmas.   Nothing brings out the worst like the stress of holidays.  I have two attorneys ready to interview kids as we expect 10 to 12 cases.

On a more fun note, I suggested that my office do a relative exchange for the holidays...names go in a hat and you swap out of town vsiting relatives.    The idea got rave reviews....don't think anyone would actually do it but the idea cheered up the stressed ones.
It's still buy a flounder a drink month

That'd be fun actually.

You're not far from my farm in Dudley, Mass [thumbsup]

I forget you were also a central mass hick  :P
If the state had not cut funding for the mental institutions, this project could never have happened.

I had to make the gravy AND carve the bird.  There are 4 guys here and not a one knew how
to carve the turkey.  SAD.

Now it is time for pie!

Chris I am thankful that there are people like you doing the work you do.

somegirl

Hope you enjoy your pie Mary! :)

We have to leave for the airport in about 5 hours.  Guess we will both sleep on the flight.

Sad how far civilization has declined.

Just lucky there are still people like you that can still prepare a real meal.  [thumbsup]

Hope everyone had a great day!
It's all in the grind, Sizemore. Can't be too fine, can't be too coarse. This, my friend, is a science. I mean you're looking at the guy that believed all the commercials. You know, about the "be all you can be." I made coffee through Desert Storm. I made coffee through Panama while everyone else got to fight, got to be a Ranger.

Wait.. you're supposed to [i[carve[/i] the turkey? You don't just rip off the part you want? Well shit.. there's a novel idea. I wonder who thought that up. Prolly some door to door knife salesman. Damn you Cutco.. DAMN YOU!!!!

So.. I just bought myself a new Macbook for Christmas. Mainly because I'm giving my old one (few years old) to my dad. I'd get him a new one. But, I want to set it up for IM and leave a bunch of music and pictures on it for him.
