Mornin' folks.  Is it normal to have sluggish throttle response at 10ºF?  Molly really didn't want to run right this morning ~

It's all in the grind, Sizemore. Can't be too fine, can't be too coarse. This, my friend, is a science. I mean you're looking at the guy that believed all the commercials. You know, about the "be all you can be." I made coffee through Desert Storm. I made coffee through Panama while everyone else got to fight, got to be a Ranger.

That may be why it would stutter when I started to apply throttle at a stop sign or red light.  I had to rev it lightly (not squidly bouncing of the limiter revs) enough so it wouldn't stumble and stall.  Good to know.  Didn't they make some type of provision to keep the carbs warm on the non-US models or am I crazy or remembering a different bike?

Pretty sure the 750s had some sort of carb heater...maybe the 900s too...

flatslides will fix that.    [evil]

Just to correct a missconception, it`s not easy living in a country with great all year round weather, good roads to ride on, very relaxed policing and low fuel prices ;D

We do have rain sometimes, it does drop to 10 degrees C, there are some potholes on our roads and the police do lock you up for no apparent reason at all.

Other than that lifes good ;D
