Off to the propane store.

How was the TSO?

She made it to work with no problems.  She was worried as she's had very little experience with snow/ice.  She called me a bit ago and all was well.  It should all be gone by this afternoon so she shouldn't have any trouble.

TSO was incredible.  We even got snowed on during one part!  Being up close we got to see all the facial expressions & non-communication between the performers.  The light show & such was unbelievable as well.  We bought a program and got all the performers to sign it.  They're so much fun to see/watch/hear!

they really seem to love what they do. which set did they do?

my g/fs little sister was freaking out when the snow came down. she was in complete awe that it was snowing inside the building...until she caught a "snowflake" on her tongue.  [laugh]

We saw the "West" band and they're supposed to perform the same tunes as the "East" band does.  They do the story part in the beginning from "Christmas Eve and Other Stories" and then do the stuff from other albums.  The personality of the folks on-stage is awesome and getting to actually talk to them and have them respond to your comments is great.  One even said (we had 3rd row seats) "I saw you out there, you looked like you were really into the show!"  They really must love what they do.  I'm guessing the snow was made from some type of soap ~

i have seen them do 2 diff sets. i like the east band better though.
the first time i saw them was chrismas eve in philly with alex skolnik. i had no idea he played with them.

i am pretty sure the snow is soap, but it's still really freaking cool. i absolutely love seeing them play. they are all so into it and having a good time.

we saw them in columbia, sc a couple of years ago and the locals playing the orchestral part just looked super giddy and couldn't stop smiling and laughing the entire time.

The Knoxville Orchestra helped them out on strings and looked like they were having a good time.  It's awesome to watch the snow fall, the stage was lit up blue like it was the middle of the night and it was snowing.  The West band has Tommy on vocals for Ornament and This Christmas Day and he has this awesome gravely voice that works very well for those pieces ~

'Ning all!  HNY and all that jazz-o-la!

Had a quiet night on the 31st with some amazing NZ wine (Wild Rock IIRC) which had a very sleepy effect on us.  Got pancakes, fresh fruit, & sausage for B'fast, took a ride (nice 65 mile loop... [moto]).  Spent last night with some friends playing euchre and drinking an AMAZING French wine from '98.  OMFG....just stellar.

Good to hear you got your compressor up & runnin' Nate!

At work right now with some  [coffee] awaiting my boss and my co-worker which were both supposed to be in an hour ago.  Oh well, thank goddess for the 'net & the DMF, eh?!?  [thumbsup]
