I try to refer to that as "alternate" education.  It may not have been book learning, but I'm sure there are some things that you learned/won't repeat.

You cant get far without a degree?  :-\

No matter how much better you are than someone else......  [laugh]

True.

But I'm a bit cynical, seeing as I have a Master's degree and can't find a job in my field.

Howdy JM.

How are the wedding plans coming?

Mornin' DD!  They're progressing nicely [thumbsup] We've got invitations to send out for the rehearsal dinner & ceremony, and to order the cake & flowers and nothing more.  Everything else is taken care of  :)

Awesome!

Are you riding Molly or Syreena in the ceremony?

Probably Molly, simple because it's the one most people have seen me on.  It's also the most distinctive it seems.  We've got a pretty good plan for how I'm arriving on it and how we're leaving on it  ;D

No you didn't...

Here's a funny joke someone sent me that I had to share with you all...

Women Are Evil By Nature...

A woman went up to the bar in a quiet
rural pub.
She gestured alluringly to the bartender
who approached her immediately.
She seductively signaled that he should
bring his face closer to hers.

As he did, she gently caressed his full
beard.
"Are you the manager?" she asked,
softly stroking his face with both hands.
"Actually, no," he replied.
"Can you get him for me? I need to
speak to him," she said, running  her
hands beyond his beard and into his hair.

"I'm afraid I can't," breathed the bartender..
"Is there anything I can do?"
"Yes. I need you to give him a message,"
she continued, running her forefinger across
the bartender's lip and slyly popping a couple
of her fingers into his mouth and allowing
him to suck them gently.

"What should I tell him?" the bartender
managed to say.

"Tell him," she whispered,
"There's no toilet paper, hand soap, or paper
towels in the ladies room.
Inara: (pissed) "What did I say to you about barging into my shuttle?"

Mal: "That it was manly and impulsive?"

Inara: "Yes, precisely. Only the exact phrase I used was 'don't'."

Once upon a time, a man could advance on merit alone. Now it requires you buying a piece of paper stating you have merit.

Top of?

Just kidding...

I remember that...

I guess I have no merit...

or desire to be on the top of a heap.
