That and I know the climb up Spooner Hill around Tahoe won't be easy, so I need to be ready.

I'm sure you'll do great.  Just remember to pace yourself, keep the gears low and spin your way up the hill.

sunscreen only works for a certain amount of time for me
after that, i can't keep from getting burnt.
even if i keep applying sunscreen.

as a kid and teen, i spent everyday at the beach
now i'm lucky to be able to stay there for 4 hrs.

omg... i'm that lady wearing the big hat  :-\
