See ya, BTB.

So, I went riding yesterday with a guy who hadn't ridden in a few yrs - he just bought a 2 yr old gsx-r 750 last wk (prob not the best bike to get back in, huh?). I took him out to show him the curvy road (yep, the one  ;D). He says he wasn't trying to keep up with me in the turns, but looking in my mirrors, I saw he failed to come out of the last "S" which was one of the easier ones. I turn around, thinking "oh, crap" and sure enough, there he is, standing thigh deep in the swamp, his bike under water up to the tank, but the tailpipe out. A couple of friendly locals used their trucks and helped us pull it out, and wouldn't you know, it fired right up (Japanese bikes, man). My friend just has a couple bumps and scratches, and his helmet was whacked pretty well. Thank God he wasn't knocked out - probably would've drowned by the time I got back. Scary stuff.
Now I feel bad for taking him out there, but the road isn't that technical compared to where most of ya'll live. He wasn't going fast, either. I think he just really didn't know what he was doing, paniced, grabbed the brake and ran off.  ???

That sucks, SD.  Glad he is ok.
It's all in the grind, Sizemore. Can't be too fine, can't be too coarse. This, my friend, is a science. I mean you're looking at the guy that believed all the commercials. You know, about the "be all you can be." I made coffee through Desert Storm. I made coffee through Panama while everyone else got to fight, got to be a Ranger.

River's taking her 2nd & last final exam this mornin'.  She already scored an 'A' in her Chemistry class, now to see about Biology...

So, keep some biological thoughts in your heads for another 90 min., K?

(this should be interesting....)  [cheeky]
