That because the survivors flip them over to steal their sneakers and wallets.

Ok, that's reasonable - I shouldn't pass judgement on yesterday's conversation as I didn't get a chance to read it before it was gone. I'm basing what I said on what I've observed over the past year, and it was far worse when there was a politics section. But for judging yesterday's "conversation" I apologize; you're right, that is shitty.
You didn't make Mom delete his account; you don't have that power. However, he has historically been a pretty thick-skinned individual, and a very cool one. That's why I wonder just what was said. I'll miss him and JBub. I doubt that I would miss some of the comments I regularly see from you two. Just my opinion.
And as far as "social protocol," what does that mean?

PM me if you would like to know what we discussed.

Apparently not.  If you did , you would want to talk to me.  We met once at a dinner and you were nice enough, but ridged and unable to have a conversation without everyone agreeing with you.  I would find that boring.  The fact that we are all different, with different opinions, is what makes most days interesting.

I am all over the map in my social, religious, and political thoughts.  I can back them up with reasoning and enjoy the discussion.

You and I will not talk anytime soon because you seem unable to meet my expectations for conversation.

Ah, I remember you.  Well, we have something in common: you don't meet the level of sanity I expect in conversation partners.  I did the polite thing, and suggested we not continue a conversation that would soon grow heated.  I was a guest of a guest, at that dinner, and did not want to reflect poorly on my friends, Adam and Amy.  I agree that conversing with those with whom you disagree is much more enlightening than not doing so.  However, I have also found that attempting to talk with a certain stripe of person really isn't worth it.  You fell into that category.

Wow, really?  Well, you're a ****** *****; so there, you ****.

Man up, dude.  If you want to call me names, go for it.  Believe me, you won't hurt my feelings.

My guess is that you, in some way, can identify with Mother.  Maybe some of the comments/thoughts/ideas expressed struck a cord with you in your own life.  That's cool.  Growth doesn't come without pain.  But, then, most people live an unexamined life, by default.  Which, again, is no big deal.  However, living with intention has such great rewards.  I was just going beneath the surface; apparently, that makes you uncomfortable.  Good to know.

Sinister and Cyrus are tools. Nothing more, nothing less. They say they were having a discussion. Fine, they can call it that but many of you saw the exchange and saw its true nature. They were intentionally and willfully make the beast with two backsing up our happy little thread.

They were asked to stop their posting several times or move it to another thread. They were asked by a moderator to do so as well. Did they? Absolutely not. They continued their antics despite repeated requests.

Sinister called ducpainter a tool. This was seen by Speeddog. Was anything done? No.

Swampduc, if you want the story from the other side, get a hold of Obsessed? or Bick. They can give you my contact information.
