Glad to hear (the member formerly known as DP) that your paint booth re-do is going well.  Here in CA if you try to install a new booth, all manner of demons dressed in suits attacks you from gov't agencies with expensive pieces of paper and fines and fees.  Evil make the beast with two backsers.  BUT, if you re-do your existing booth...hehehe...all happens under the radar and no-one's the wiser.  (tis cheaper too, eh?)

There is very little on the radar here.  ;)

If I had the money, and business would support it, I'd have a state of the art downdraft booth with heated air makeup and every bell and whistle available to man.

Since neither of those apply....

I'll run my home made rig. ;D

It works if you maintain it.

Ning.  First cup of  [coffee] and then 2 more.

L. says to let her know when I am caffeinated so she can talk to me.  I offered to talk now, but she says I am grouchy before the coffee kicks in.  I do not agree  :P

Okay-soon as you stop throwing books at me, I'll let you know that you can talk to L.
If the state had not cut funding for the mental institutions, this project could never have happened.

So not true, the suits want their money. In some cases I've seen them revoke the permit altogether. They HAVE to cut emissions. :-\

So...quietly installing a spray booth here may be a bad plan?  :P

Put off ALL my customer projects today and got a good rip into my '95 M900. 

Carbs reworked (cleaned out & reassembled)
air-box off
heads off
barrels & pistons off
& the old chrome cylinder head studs removed.
