But fresh ground beans and a press are where it's at.

That's my favorite beverage of all the caffinated ones 

I can get Dunkin Donuts to make them for like a buck, it's great.

"Can you give me three shots of espresso in a medium cup of boiling water please?"

"Uhhhh .... does that even taste good? Sounds gross."

Usual response: "Not at all, but I'm a masochist so hey!"

First thing I did after I got off the train in Rome (1st time in Europe), was head straight for a coffee. That pretty much sealed the deal to get my own decent espresso machine.

Damn those Italians and their tempting machinery...
