I'll feel at home. Plenty of roads over here are exactly as screwy. Nothing like blasting around the corner on a new-to-me road and it suddenly turns into a dirt road.

Yeah, for the most part I'll be in the city. Not sure how much riding I'll be able to do while in school. Probably more towards the beginning than towards the end...

I have to report on the 23rd of July, but school is supposed to start on the 25th. The first 6 weeks is BESS (basic enlisted submarine school) and is supposed to be pretty easy...

Yup, loading everything up in a moving truck, bike in the back of my F150, F150 being towed behind the moving truck, wife and kid driving along in the Passat. All 2600+ miles across the U.S.
