I am going moto shopping for the wife today.

found a 2009 Kawasaki KLXâ,,¢250S at a dealer.

It is used with 1000mi on it and a 50/50 warranty (whatever that means).

They want $3,995 for it.

Is that price seem good? High? negotiable?

The bike is a learner for my wife and I want to keep it to make the beast with two backs around town on it.

No idea on the value of the bike, but I'd pass as a 50/50 warranty means you split the costs of repair with the shop. That really means they double everything and you end up paying full price.

I'd pass on any used purchase from that shop if that's how they operate. ;)

Thanks Nate for the 50/50 part. That makes me want to pass too.

I just found a 2008 KLR650 for 3800$ with 2800mi on it.

I am going to look at it at 1230p

Is that price good, low, or the potential issue?

I called the guy to make an appointment and he sounded very nice and not shady. I know you can't tell much from a phone call, but got a good vibe.

I think this is a winner. Not to mention, this bike will run foreveeer.

Depends on your market out there-I wouldn't spend that much on a 25o enduro.
If the state had not cut funding for the mental institutions, this project could never have happened.

What about the KLR 650?

I think 3800$ is pretty reasonable
