morning all.

busy day at the buelton house.

tiff just left with a co-worker to ride the 'coasters at Cedar Point for the day. Her friend and husband house exchange students and they are currently housing a deaf one. Just so happens to be today is Deaf Appreciation Day or something of the like at Cedar Point. I would have gone, but I have an aversion to being around a lot of deaf people and someone needs to watch the dobermans.

Also, this weekend is the Dublin Irish Festival (supposedly the largest in the US, it attracts about 200,000 guests) and we live right across the street from it (UGH).

So later today, I am going to sell water for $1 a bottle and donate it to my wife's Pelotonia Race Team.

Pelotonia is a bike race in Columbus (2nd year it has been going on) and her employer, Huntington Bank, is the main sponsor.

100% of the proceeds go to Ohio State James Cancer Research Foundation. Lance Armstrong rode in it last year and I believe he is currently slated to ride this year.

Therefore, I will do what I can and sell some water and donate to her departments race team, as I have read extensively about the James Foundation and found it to be a very worthy organization as it purely is a research foundation verse the Susan Kolman (or whatever it is called) organization where a very small percentage goes to research and a TON to administrative costs (i.e. executives.....check their tax filing if you don't believe me, I've researched this one too. However, they spend most on informing and checking for breast cancer, which is a great thing, but I don't like their slogan "race for the cure" based upon how much they donate. Anyway)

Also have to get to the store to pick up some flank steak to start marinating for my Mom's famous flank steak sandwiches tonight. Amazing recipe. It was in Sunset magazine back in the early 70's. You top it with monterrey jack cheese and guacamole.

No, large amounts are.

I am friends with a few deaf people and have no issue at all.

Just when there is a mass amount, it is hard to tell who is deaf and who isn't. Not that I would talk bad about them, which I would never do, but it just gives me anxiety and panic attacks.

Been up!

It's all in the grind, Sizemore. Can't be too fine, can't be too coarse. This, my friend, is a science. I mean you're looking at the guy that believed all the commercials. You know, about the "be all you can be." I made coffee through Desert Storm. I made coffee through Panama while everyone else got to fight, got to be a Ranger.

I imagine you'd do better than I would. Shouldn't you be used to nobody listening to you by now?
If the state had not cut funding for the mental institutions, this project could never have happened.
