I'd just use a PT bottom plate (required by code in most places) and KD for the studs and top plate. I'm assuming the wooden part of the wall is above grade.

I already bought all pressure treated, I tend towards overkill. Yeah and bringing the block up to five foot brings it just above grade for the highest part of the yard.
As for a lot for one guy, yup but that's what it is. I never get help, people always ask me for help but disappear when I'd need it.

reminds me of when I replaced a floor at my mother's house and a section of subflooring had "Free Puppies" painted on it
