That might be too soon to take another trip. We burned through a little more money than intended on this last one and need to pay down the credit cards back to zero before we do much more of anything. I don't want to touch the money I set aside for the Indy trip.

I wouldn't have minded.You don't go on vacation and try to avoid spending money. I put about 1300 miles on the rental car driving around. If he was around what I spent on gas wandering around would've been spent on drunken mischief instead.

We have a new addition to our household.  We brought home a tiny kitten, but it's special, he has 7 toes on each of his front paws!

  Actually, these are Key West genetics, it seems the cats with extra toes are quite common down there.  They're usually referred to as 'Hemingway' cats for that reason.

oh and some other perks:

in house gym (albeit small), with showers
at 5:00 there is a vacuum caused by all the people leaving (no need for OT - and i'm salary).
bennies start in 90 days - which equals out to the same time they would start at the last job

cons:
cubicle - though bigger than the last one i was in
have to pass the 90 day test (not too afraid)

They're doing something weird at my neighbor's house.  There's this truck, full-side Ford, flat utility bed with a motor & blower.  Once they start the motor on the bed, this huge canvas tube inflates that's about 3 times the length of the truck.  Haven't seen anything of the sort before ~
