I've been cold all day.  Currently wearing a jacket and a hat in my 68 degree house and still not warm.  

Got the new sneaks on the 3 today.

It's been in the snow for the past couple of days.

Stockers did okay.  The replacements are much better.

I'm shocked at how unobtrusive the traction control and ABS are.

They definately work too.

the previous generation (the '06 I had and the '09 my wife has) didn't have traction control.
they do fine anyway but of course I'm sure they are better with it

I wouldn't even know it was there if it wasn't for the blinking light on the dash.

I think I'll miss the studded tires I had on my old car though.  They were great in the snow.

Evening.  Another day off from school.  The northern part of the county is getting flurries AGAIN!  Looks like a delay tomorrow since there were already slick places still on the roads ~

I think here they only be necessary about 2 or 3 times a season.

We went with the Nokian WRG2s,  not an actual "snow" tire, but a "year round performance tire."

if they give her more confidence then that alone is worth it, she knows they aren't as good on non-snowy roads and drives accordingly

No matter what tires there are on a vehicle....it's only as good/bad as the operator.  

Just like 4 wheel drive.
