How much booze did it take to get Mike on the roof?  :P

Well, one triple-walled cast iron flange cut off, new plastic & stainless one installed, toilet back in place and working.  EVERYTHING in the bathroom had a coating of black from the dust.

he never actually got on the roof... honestly i can't blame him
he did get very comfortable on the ladder though  [laugh]
and we didn't open a single beer until that task was done
he started out with the intention of cutting in the channels as dan suggested
but then it started breaking off in big pieces here and there so he went for it

Morning all!  Ready for the next blast of snow and cold?!

I'm gonna make believe it isn't happening.

Our second arctic blast is moving in here in "paradise".  High of -3 tomorrow.  An inch or two of snow predicted making it a seasonal total of about 6-8" inches so far.

No complaining over here.    [thumbsup]

We've had plenty of cold, but the snow gods have been relatively kind...from a snow hater's perspective.

Maybe 18-20" total.

True - that's not too bad.

Which is worse (besides both)?  Continuous snow or continuous cold?

I think I'd take snow over cold.

I'd take snow over cold as well.

We've had a lot of both so far.  2* or so here right now. And I think we've had 50-60 inches of snow so far this season.

What I didn't expect when I moved to Denver was how little snow the front range gets.  And when we do get it, it's typically gone soon after it arrives.

Always missing the family in Michigan but not enough to move back to the snow and gloom belt.

Ning!  I fell into an episode of Weather Talk!

Did my workout and am eyeing a big bowl of oatmeal.   [bacon] later.
