Sounds good.  That's what I'll toss on there.

BTW, funny
I had heard that, but have never had problems, and coming from a Fram using dad, I've seen a dozen or so vehicles go well beyond 100,000 miles with no issues.  34,000 miles on the Monster and it's had Fram filters all except two times ~

JM

I performed a non scientific test ... two vehicles, identical, same quantity of oil one OEM filter the other FRAM ... guess which one's oil light came on while driving ...

Weird.  I've never had an oil related issue with the Fram filters.  The Taurus I just sold had nothing but Fram filters (except the Motorcraft one from the factory) all its 184,000 miles. The engine was in great shape, but the rest of the car was falling apart around it.  [laugh]

Sounds like I can't go wrong with the ones mentioned as alternatives though.

Thanks dp, I'll look for that too next time I'm in the bike shop.

I'm painting parts for the M750 between posts!  To not have ANY type of real paint equipment, it's turning out pretty good!

JM,

this seems to be happening to 'newer' vehicles somehow, a read somewhere in one of the online magazines I'm subscribed to, that the these filters did indeed bring the oil light on while driving certain vehicles. The test was done in Brazil or Argentina ...

Weird.  The check engine light comes on a lot in my truck (2002 model) I might try a different filter on the next change and see if it affects it.

Not dead!

Good to hear.

How is the rest of the Incredible family?

It's all in the grind, Sizemore. Can't be too fine, can't be too coarse. This, my friend, is a science. I mean you're looking at the guy that believed all the commercials. You know, about the "be all you can be." I made coffee through Desert Storm. I made coffee through Panama while everyone else got to fight, got to be a Ranger.

Didn't crash either.

It was a good day.  [thumbsup]
