I never cease to amaze myself with my stupidity.  [thumbsup]

I measured the tiller...

added 6 inches and planted 32 tomato plants.

Put up the cages and guess what.   [bang] [bang] [bang] [bang]

Looks like hand cultivating this year. [bang] [bang] [bang] [bang] [bang]

So I understand, you thought the tiller was wider than it was and when you went to put in the last few cages you noticed that you were out of garden?

The rows are too close together to fit the tiller through

Evening.

I've got to put together a "what I learned" list after this weekend-long group ride.  It's always interesting when all the rest of the bikes have at least twice the power of what you're riding, AND they're all good riders.

dp - Gonna add 8 inches next year?

I just borrowed a little 2 smoker from my father in law to chew up our back yard so I could reseed it (we have a little back yard)  I wasn't sure how well it would work.

Let's just call it the Jack Russel of tillers.  Plenty of motivation to tear shit up

In college I worked for an elderly woman that had a "Mantis" tiller.  If you could point it in a straight line it did a good job.  It was kind of like trying to control a rabid badger on the end of a stick.

I usually ride at the end of the group; just don't like getting that fast from A-B ... I like to take the surroundings plus, I don't want points in my license ...

They're not bad riders, I'd say 'average' in the US/Europe ... me, maybe play it to safe !!!
