I find it disturbing that you're imagining me in a sauna, never mind the teletubbie aspect of it

so just got home
was very amused to look up the Bosch part number on the box the hot sauce came in to see it's a diesel fuel injection pump box  [laugh]
whatever it's for it's certainly smaller than the scary thing on the front of my engine  [cheeky]

not looking at the ingredients, just put some of the orange Caribeno sauce in my pasta.
orange is less hot than red and green right?
no, but not too bad either  [thumbsup]

It's the electronic control unit of the VP44 series radial pumps as the ones used in Cummings engines ...

Not sure on who's hotter than who ... Ask JM he's tried them all ... Me, seriously, I;m biased towards Caribeno ...

Nope, higher... the system on the GTD runs at about, at idle, 160MPa or 1600bar or 23206PSI; your injectors inject about 85mm3/hr... But this bench runs them all ... unless you have the last gen UIP[Unit Injector Pump] motor, that has one of these per cilynder, these are Pumps and Injectors in one unit, thus the name UIP ... Which produce even higher preasures ...

nope I have the single one that is driven by the timing belt, the pressure numbers I've read for it are 1800bar/26,000psi
