OK ...

From what know, the  same knob, usually it comes set from factory so that it pumps out the 'usual' 90psi but it can be turned to pump out more depending on air tools and hoses ...

The one we had in the shop was set for 125~130 since we ran tire mounting machine, air tools the ocassional nitwitt who would park a car on top of ahose and turn the wheels ...

Why yes...yes it can.

You can adjust the cutout pressure and the pressure differential between on and off by the switch where the juice feeds in to the compressor.

i get to jump on a jet plane or two back to colorado today.  [thumbsup]

while it's been nice seeing family, i'm getting a little stir crazy down here.

If you pull the cover on that switch you should see two screws with springs under them.

The larger is the shut off pressure. The smaller is the differential.

Cortech.  I've got a lot of their gear and really like it.  Their warranty service is good to, the not only replaced, but upgraded my gloves when the stitching was coming apart.

...exactly like the pressure switch on my old Davey water pump.
